Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Photography Under the Microscope discovers the microscopic images living inside a larger photo. Virtually exhibited July and August 2020 as the second incarnation of #saferathome, the original 31-part series dissected small sections within existing photographs to unearth intriguing new imagery. The Jules Verne-style journey to the inner core of a photo began accidently. I was trying to shrink to a image 90% for a new composite, and instead enlarged it 900%. The center cut of this distorted image revealed two ants working at the plant in silhouette. From there, I posted a series featuring 31 different original photographs along with the microscopic cross-section ‘Slides’ existing inside the image.
An unrecorded lyricist, unpublished novelist, and unpaid daydreamer, Brian Morefield of the Conejo Valley in California, added digital photography to his unrequited creative passions in the early 2000s. His landscape, nature and garden images were featured on shutterheartstories from 2016-18. He began doing business as Prose Imagery in 2018, producing thousands of local landscape images from the southern and central coast regions of California.
